Pilates

  • Pilates is a mindful movement practice that builds strength, flexibility, and body awareness from the inside out. Through controlled movements, we strengthen the whole body with particular focus on the deep core muscles that support our spine and pelvis, creating a stable foundation for all the ways we move in daily life.

    The Pilates Reformer is a specialised piece of equipment that uses springs and pulleys to create resistance, allowing for precise, low impact, dynamic movement.

    The reformer offers both support and challenge in equal measure, making it accessible yet deeply effective.

    Pilates matwork is equally beneficial. We often introduce props such as flex bands, blocks and the magic ring to help with proprioception, stability and alignment.

    It's a practice that truly honours every type of body, meeting you where you are and growing with you.


  • I offer both Mat and Reformer 1-2-1 lesson at my home in the Beckenham/Penge area. I also offer these lessons online.

    In a private Pilates session, we work together  to tailor the practice specifically to your body, goals, and any areas that need special attention.

    These focussed sessions are perfect whether you're recovering from an injury, looking to deepen your practice, pre or post natal, managing a specific condition, or simply prefer individualised guidance and privacy.
